The Gift of Goodbye Series Kicks Off
A Season of Cookies and Kisses
Last Christmas left Lily shattered. This year, she's determined to keep her heart locked away and her life perfectly controlled. That is, until she runs into the arms of a stranger while holiday shopping. One unexpected collision leads to a second chance she never saw coming... and a choice she isn't sure she's ready to make. Will she keep hiding among the quiet halls of Bethlehem Retirement Community, clinging to the past? Or will she risk everything on a Christmas do-over with the man who just upended her carefully ordered world?
Jonah moved to Timberidge Gap, Virginia, trailing his best friend home from college. The small town delivered everything he'd hoped for: a solid new job, proximity to his grandmother, Monday-night Mexican, and all the cozy Christmas charm a guy could want. Then he saw her. He realized in that single moment that he had never wanted anything or anyone more.
Now the question isn't whether the season can work its magic... It's whether Lily will let it.

About Trinity Marie:

Trinity Marie writes contemporary Christian romance that celebrates the quiet miracles of real love: the kind that arrives when you least expect it and settles into your heart with a certainty that can only be described as God-ordained. Her stories are inspired by the most important love story of her own life: the one she shares with her husband. They met, fell in love, and were married within nine months. That same sense of divine timing and connection runs through every page she writes.
Her love of storytelling began long before she ever dreamed of publishing. As a child, Trinity filled notebooks with poems, short stories, and imaginary worlds. Later she turned to letter-writing, pouring her heart onto paper for the people she cared about. During her time in missions work with the Tenth Hour Project, those letters grew into blogging—honest, faith-filled reflections shared from the field. Writing has always been how she processes life, worships, and connects with others.
Then came a season of profound loss. After four pregnancy losses, the words stopped. Grief stole her motivation, and for a time the blank page felt impossible. It was only this year that she found her way back to storytelling. Returning to writing has been one of the greatest gifts for her mental and spiritual health—a gentle reminder that even after deep sorrow, creativity and hope can bloom again. That journey of healing now informs the emotional honesty in her work and has also sparked a grief fantasy novel currently in progress, a project that allows her to explore loss and restoration through a different lens.
Her debut novella, A Season of Cookies and Kisses, marks the beginning of this new chapter. Warm, faith-centered, and full of the small, sweet moments that make love feel like home, the story invites readers into a world where second chances and quiet courage matter. Next year she will release a four-book series set in the fictional town of Timberidge Gap, a place where community, faith, and romance intertwine across interconnected stories.
Trinity writes for readers who believe love can be both ordinary and extraordinary, who find comfort in stories that honor both joy and heartache, and who long for endings that point toward hope. When she is not writing, she is living the same kind of everyday faith and unexpected romance that fills her books, along with raising two beautiful little girls and "helping" her husband renovate their new home.
